The Performance Clutches Stage 4 Sport Single Mass Flywheel Kit for BMW E36 and E46 platforms is engineered for drivers who demand uncompromising drivetrain precision and the fastest possible engine response. At its core is our 7.2kg lightweight single mass flywheel, manufactured from 4140 forged steel with an integral ring gear. This high-strength construction delivers exceptional durability and heat resistance while dramatically lowering rotational mass compared to OE dual-mass systems. The reduced moment of inertia enables ultra-fast rev climb, sharper throttle modulation, and extremely rapid gear transitions — critical in race and drift applications.

The cover assembly incorporates a QT450 steel pressure plate, offering outstanding thermic capability and clamp load stability under sustained high-temperature and high-load operation.

What defines Stage 4 Sport is its rigid ceramic 6-paddle friction disc. By eliminating the sprung hub and marcel cushioning, rotating mass is further reduced, lowering inertia within the clutch assembly itself.
